News, Events, Appearances
Audrey and her son musician Daniel Landers will be guests at The Genesis Awards, the only awards show of its kind honoring the news and entertainment media
for raising awareness of animal protection issues. Audrey is on the Honorary Committee, along with Kristen
Bell, Viggo Mortensen, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi and Harrison Ford, to name a few. The awards, created
by The Humane Society of the United States, take place in Los Angeles in March, and will air on Animal Planet on April
24 and 25. Animal protection runs in
the Landers family.... Both Audrey and Daniel are passionate animal supporters and vegetarians. Audrey's family
has two dogs -- Andy and Roxy -- both rescued from shelters. Of course Landers STAR Collection, is cruelty-free (no fur, no leather, no suede), and Ruth has always filled the Landers
family home with animals she rescued. She now has two cats (Buddy and Binky) and and a dog (Princess) as well!
Daniel volunteers at a local animal shelter near their home in Florida, and continues to support animals any way he can. Check back for more news and information!
